How MIPACE two-step login works for customers and administrators

How customer email codes and administrator authenticator codes differ, what to do if a code does not arrive, and how to protect your account.

MIPACE Knowledge Hub

MIPACE uses a second verification step during supported account sign-ins. Your password is checked first. The next step depends on the type of account.

Customer sign-in

After entering the correct account email or username and password, customers are asked for a six-digit verification code sent to the email address registered to their MIPACE account. The code expires after ten minutes. Check your spam or junk folder if it has not arrived, and make sure you can access your registered mailbox. Never share the code with anyone.

Administrator sign-in

Administrators use a separate verification process with an authenticator application or a recovery code. Customer email verification does not replace administrator authenticator verification.

Signing out

The My MIPACE menu can display Log in or Log out depending on your session. Logging out of the customer account returns you to the MIPACE homepage. On a shared device, always sign out when finished.

What two-step login does not do

Additional verification reduces the risk of an account being accessed using a stolen password. It cannot prevent all phishing, protect information somebody has already copied from a legitimately viewed public profile, or guarantee that every existing session or third-party integration uses the same sign-in checks.

Need help?

If you cannot access your registered email, or you think someone else knows your password, contact MIPACE support. Do not send us your password or verification code.
